if not you then who? if not now then when?

Before you get into a religious debate or argument, consider these verses.

attempting-thechrist-life:

Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

- 2 Timothy 2: 23-26

Except a religion is not a “stupid argument” a religion is the most serious thing you can argue about. It’s what people base their whole lives around. They’re family values and rules and traditions are based off their beliefs. And as a 16 year old Christian girl I’m saying I will never not argue over religion because it’s “stupid” but instead because how can I ask them to respect my beliefs if I do not return the favor. If it is what the live by and what they believe in then let them. Don’t bring them down and ridicule them by calling them stupid.
